Tom Chaplin，英國搖滾樂團Keane主唱。

Keane在2013年底驚傳解散，後來證實是虛驚一場，Tom表示樂團會休息一陣子，團員各自去挖掘想做的東西。終於，今年讓我們等到美麗的成果了，Tom預計要在10月14日發行最新專輯《The wave》，釋出的兩首曲目不僅有Tom圓美純熟的技巧，歌詞更加入了不同於Keane時期的感情，〈Quicksand〉就是一首寫給女兒的歌，快快存飽錢包，準備迎接好歌吧！

在 Spotify 上聽到這首歌真的很感動，以為出現了一個厲害的新歌手，一看才發現是Tom Chaplin，但感動竟然沒有減少，只要好聲音怎麼樣都好！

這首歌的歌詞不難，是在講沮喪時自我調適的心情，開頭隨著Tom的音一層層疊上去，就有種旭日身起的感覺，不得不說這麼挑人情緒聲音真的不多，是一首充滿能量的好歌。
