【Let’s Dance to Joy Division】太！開！心！來自利物浦的躁鬱平衡

剛吃完一包膨化食品，有點自我厭惡，就來聽〈Let’s Dance to Joy Division〉(2007)吧。認識這首歌的過程跟Jungle有異曲同工之妙，好幾年前本來想找Joy Division的歌來聽聽，卻意外發現The Wombats的這首歌，意外地愛上（尤其是用力唱we're so happy那part），也算有緣有緣。

此曲源於主唱Matthew Murphy和女孩在酒吧，跟隨Joy Division的〈Love Will Tear Us Apart〉跳舞的回憶。Joy Division（中文譯作快樂小分隊）是一隻成立於1976年的後龐克英國樂團，取名自二戰時納粹的一所軍妓院（裏頭多為受強迫的戰俘或慰安婦），雖然團員表示他們並不強調、擁護納粹思想，但會取這樣的名字又未曾好好解釋緣由，無怪乎部分民眾會將其視為納粹的支持者。先把Joy Division的名字擺一邊，回歸正題。Murphy詞中提到的「諷刺性」可能是Joy Division有著歡樂的名字，卻多演唱一些黑暗、離經叛道的內容，並在現代被作為狂歡跳舞的音樂。

拿〈Love Will Tear Us Apart〉來說，歌詞明明在講「愛使我們分離」這樣抑鬱的情緒、愛人間的衝突與拉扯，舞池裡的情侶卻在歌聲中親吻、熱舞，人們在一個禮拜的尾聲快被現實壓垮，需要透過音樂逃離種種壓力，根本未曾留意其中的矛盾與諷刺。在這首歌裡我聽到的是狂歡中的絕望，那種一切都無所謂，只要熬過今天的感覺，也許很逃避現實，但人生中總不能一直扯著理智線，偶爾放鬆才能避免斷裂。當然不鼓勵大家天天「今朝有酒今朝醉」啦，但世界上應該有寬容（頹廢?）存在之必要，現在一起Dance to Joy Division!
