【Musta Been Something】我們能不能不要愛得這麼卑微

這支波士頓的樂團有「不合時宜」的厲害之處，鼓手Mike說：「我們想呈現披頭士跟摩城一起開派對的感覺。」樂團深受靈魂、搖滾、流行樂與搖擺時代的爵士樂所影響，Lake Street Dive讓你難以定義他的時代，也許這是一種歷久彌新的起手式。 

2004年成立至今已經15年，團員沒什麼改變（只有keyboard是2017才加入的）。由左至右為吉他兼小號手Mike 'McDuck' Olson、鍵盤手Akie Bermiss、鼓手Mike Calabrese、低音提琴手Bridget Kearney以及主唱Rachael Price。

在新英格蘭音樂學院相遇，所有的團員都從三年級就開始學音樂，大多具有古典音樂的背景，且出身音樂世家，這點展現在他們純熟的技巧和多元風格上。團員表示他們的音樂受到自己父母的影響，包括古典爵士到60年代的靈魂樂與搖滾，低音提琴手Bridget Kearney就曾創作好幾首歌，致敬他們深愛的披頭士。原先想組成鄉村樂團的他們，不久後就手癢「叛變」了。

創立之初，Lake Street Dive錄製的一首歌讓Kearney在著名的約翰藍儂音樂創作大賽，得到爵士組第一名，而獎品就是獎金和免費錄製1000張CD！在這之後他們又獨立發行了幾張專輯和單曲，2010才與唱片公司簽約。他們比較不走主流路線，而是做了很多現場演出與巡迴，以實力累積死忠追隨者。幸運的是，他們在油管上經營得還不錯，翻唱的I want you back（Jackson 5）達到了近600萬的點閱率，對於他們的知名度有推波助瀾的效果。
