【King James】一首以詹皇為名的歌

打給厚，今天跟大家分享Anderson .Paak四月發行的新專輯。這張《Ventura》其實是與上一張《Oxnard》(2018)同時進行的，在《Malibu》的巡迴中Anderson產生了很多靈感，回來後便把歌曲分別收錄到兩張專輯，據本人的說法就是gritty的歌一張；pretty的歌一張哈哈哈！保持一貫輕鬆寫意的調調，Anderson唱出他眼中的世界，相較上張濃厚的嘻哈風格R&B，這張更偏向靈魂、放克的味道，重溫60年代的黃金年代，可以看到Stevie Wonder的痕跡。

Anderson說擔任製作人的Dr. Dre（G-Funk始祖）給他很大的創作空間，經歷製作《Oxnard》時的摧殘打磨後，這次Anderson想放開一點，不把音樂用得太複雜，保持有餘裕的步調，做一張chilled、舒服的專輯，《Malibu》那種舒緩的靈魂調性回來了，《Ventura》是Anderson的招牌曲風也是舒適圈。延續上一張的慣例，這張專輯的feature.陣容依舊豪華，不只有André 3000驚喜的饒舌助陣，還取樣了Nate Dogg等前輩的歌聲。

《Ventura》

回到歌曲，雖然歌名叫〈King James〉，但並不是對LeBron James歌功頌德的主題曲，而是與美國的近況環環相扣，聚焦在種族議題（川普上任後湧現的抗議……）。翻譯過程遇到了一些困難，第一次粗翻後，發現根本不像歌詞，比較像憤怒又支離破碎的國中作文；二修又跟原意差太多，所以各位現在看到的是折衷版本。就麻煩大家鞭小力點啦，最近語感有點失衡……。（咬一口漢堡愛心）上歌！請享用。題外話：有人也覺得雷霸龍這個名字翻得很貼切嗎？

＊seed指非法移民帶進美國的孩子，歐巴馬政府實施的DACA保障16歲以前進入的無證移民可暫緩兩年遣返，並容許申請工作證明，讓從小生長於美國的孩子不會馬上被迫與家人分離，被送往陌生的「祖國」。而在川普提出的零容忍政策下，計畫廢除DACA，採取更嚴格的移民措施，此舉引發大眾反彈。這一段所談的大都圍繞川普閉鎖、排外的政策。
