【Pa'lante】Puerto Rican Matter

Hurray for The Riff Raff（為痞子歡呼樂團）是由Alynda Segarra領軍的美國藍調民謠樂團，靈魂人物自然是上圖這位女主唱Alynda，17歲輟學逃家，在街頭上賣唱求生，可以聽到他的音樂裡有濃濃的草根味。從小聽Doo-Wop和摩城音樂的Alynda嗓音相當具有渲染力，作品常移民、種族等議題，也許這是她尋找自我認同的方式吧！

這首《Pa lante》講的也是關於種族的問題，MV中分隔在紐約與波多黎各的家庭，敘述了好多移民追尋更好生活的情景，一朝的幻滅勾起多少貧窮青年的記憶，男主角手中的刮刮樂部也控訴著美國對波多黎各的所作所為，當初給予的承諾可曾實現？

＊2：El Barrio是在紐約東哈林的一個街區，人口主要為波多黎各裔；而Arecibo是波多黎各的一個城市。

＊3：Marble Hill位於紐約，是撫養Alynda長大的姑媽居住的地方。Emmett Till是位黑人，因為對一個白人女士吹口哨，而慘遭凌虐致死，引起美國非裔族群一片嘩然，並推動黑人民權運動。

＊4：指民權運動家Julia de Burgos 和跨性別自由鬥士 Sylvia Rivera，兩人皆為波多黎各女性。

聽完這首歌，我才對波多黎各這塊土地有多一點了解，她不只有〈Despacito〉這首歌，其與美國沉重的歷史關係也值得探究，看著MV聽到最後一段，我靠在電腦前哭，我也不知道自己為什麼對這首歌這麼起共鳴，可能Alynda沙啞喊著Pa lante的聲音，觸動了我心中哪一塊開關，還是老話一句，讓我們好好愛對方，不管這有多難。
